Omega Flight!!!!!

I'm much more inclined to believe it was Don Blake at this point, appearing to him in oblivion the same way he did with Thor.

Very well could, but I don't think Blake had the kinda power to save the last remaining Korbinites. Well only time will tell.

Suprized Thor is selling so well in the market right now, not much has happened yet but at least we have Asgard back now.

Right now, I think Thor's comic is running more on the strength of Thor's characterization and the mystique of the world he inhabits. In the first issue we saw weird mysteries like a side of Thor apparently incarnated into its own being, the void of oblivion represented as a demonic battleground, and the power of storms restored to the level they ought to inhabit after years of being pushed to the side in Thor's book. Thor himself is contemplative and has a sense of majesty about him thanks to the sheer scale at which Coipel portrays him. Those are some cool elements that have made the book enjoyable.

But those can only last for so long. Thankfully, JMS seems to understand this given that some serious stuff's about to happen in #3, if previews and early reviews are any indication. In another few months, we'll probably have a good idea of the shape JMS' actual story is going to take. The decompressed storytelling actually works well for Thor since it's a relaunch, though.

It was, but the mini downgrade he said on his board added insult to injury

"The first question from the Canadian audience was, of course, “Are we going to see more ‘Omega Flight?'”

Cebulski said, “The Michael Avon Oeming- Scott Kolins series did very well in sales, much better than expected. It was only a miniseries originally but I know there are plans for some of those more successful minis that came out this year to come back next so hopefully you will see more of Omega Flight.

Cool. Like I said, Oeming proved there is demand for this book and hopefully we get more than a MCP story.

I have a gut feeling that when another Omega Flight mini hits, the artist is either going to be Di Vito or Briones.

That'd be fine.

#1 was in the mid-50s, the rest of the series hovered around the 80s. The trade was #39 for its release month.
