I love the A Long Time Ago Omnibuses, but what are some other good Star Wars trade paperbacks that will keep me busy for a long time?

You could go for the Thawn Trilogy and the Shadows of the Empire dulogy, as well as the Dark Empire trilogy. Those should do the trick.

If you want even more, buy the TPBs for the Republic ongoing series. Well, it's not ongoing anymore. :p

Crimson Empire, Volume 1. I didn't care for Volumes 2 or 3. But I think all three are collected presently in a hardcover edition.

Series: Knights of the Old Republic, Dark Times, Legacy, Agent of the Empire

Star Wars Republic (the series is now in three omnibuses: The Republic Goes to War, The Enemy on all sides, The Republic Falls)

Tales of the Jedi omnibuses (if you are interested in ancient Jedi history)

Well my knowledge is limited and with Marvel getting a hold of the Star Wars comics I'm gonna move quickly to get the Dark Horse greatness. Like the Omnibuses, of which I have read some of the individual issues included in those collections. Dark Horse are amazing storytellers, I usually prefer their stuff over the novels. Some of the ones I think would be great are:

The Legacy series are superb and take place 125 years after ROTJ. Seriously epic
