What are you planning to do with your parents when they are old and wet themselves?

Leave them to stay in their own home independantly
Let them stay in their own home but with hired regular or full time assistance
Let one of your siblings look after them
look after them personally
leave them in a supermarket and run away
whack them in a home

obviously this depends on how they grow and what happens to their physical conditions and state of mind so i won't bother putting up a poll, just clarify any answer you give.

oh and ignore the wetting themselves part...I got carried away...

I intend on setting them on fire when they hit 80.
No...I'll ook after them personally, because my brother is not dependable.

 EVERY OLD PERSON WET THEMSELVES? Damnit that was in caps. Guess I have to find a cure for them...:whatever:

I don't speak to either and they are both married to people my age. I think they can handle it.

im not going to outlive my mom

Hopefully I'll be a successful attorney by then, so I'll have plenty of money to do whatever I can for my folks. It'll come down to what me and my brothers decide though, hopefully they'll be like 40 by then.

Take care of them. It's the circle of a human life. they took care of me when I couldn't for myself, I will do the same when its their time and I hope my children will do the same.

pee your pants?

the whole reason you stopped was because society told you it was unacceptable, what about if it then became acceptable for you to do so, you would, wouldn't you?

*piss*

:word:

Germs...if it was okay to do that. It would be okay to get STD's, AIDS, and a bunch of other stuff. Society would crumble. And then...the horror...:wow: Jingle All the Way 2!

So far I've just kept a pad lock on there door so they don't get out an become a nuisance to others.

Nah, really, If they get to the point where they're unable to care for themselves, hopefully I'll be at a point where I can afford help for them at home. One of my grandmothers wound up in a home, that my aunt worked in (which helped) but I know she'd have rather stayed in her own home.

As long as they know that they need adult diapers, they can live on their own.

Afterwards, my younger sister has already agreed to take Mom (dad is already dead). If she can't do it, then I would probably try to find her a really comfortable "senior citizens residence" that would allow her a modicom of independence but would do things like cleaning and cooking for her.
