It's sad considering that Tommy Lee Jones is a better actor than his performance of Two-Face in "Batman Forever" would suggest. Imagine if he'd gotten to play Two-Face as the tragic psychopath he's supposed to be? Oh what could have been...

Tommy Lee Jones is a good actor, and when you see in in certain roles, the guy with his sort of grizzly voice can be intimidating, if he was being closer to TAS two-face he probably would have been ace.

I happen to think that overblown expectations might ruin this film for most people. Comic book films have become so formulaic these days, that everybody thinks they know exactly what to expect. There is supposed to be a love interest; there is supposed to be a final battle sequence; every sequel HAS to out-do the first film in regard to action. This is exactly what blew that Spiderman series apart.

What made BB so cool though - in my opinion - was that it was just a really good movie in it's own right. The worst part about it was all the stuff that seemed artificially put in there just to fulfill those stupid expectations...ala Katie Holmes. So my greatest hope (if not expectation) is that Nolan makes the film based upon what he thinks it should be like, not what we think it should be like.

That might decrease its "coolness" factor, but it would definitely be a better film because of it.

I expect it to be a decent movie, but not at all as deserving of all the hype it's getting.

I also expect Joker to not die, but disappear and be around for future movies.

The fact that a distinguished actor of Michael Caine's calibre should forget his lines at the sight of a menacing new Joker is further proof to me that this film is going to be beyond bloody excellent!!

Personally I reckon this film is going to be SO good that I'll go and see it twice...which will be a first for me.

I'm expecting that TDK will do an X2 by being far superior than it's original counterpart.

I think becuz of how nolan made the first film the opening scene of the dark knight should be a montage of batman kicking criminal butt who are commiting relevant crimes of today ...i ant to see batman beat up real scum bagg that we hear about on the news everyday that make us mad and i want to see batman in the opening scene in a montage destroy them



it will connect with audiences today and will up the action for people who complained there was not enough action in BB.


some may think its too mellowdramatic but i wanna see that before the jokeer even comes into the story

I try not set my expectations too high in order to like it more instead of getting disappointment... but I'm sure it'll do as good if not better than BB. I expect to be surprised, since there was a twist in BB and that Nolan likes (thankfully) to keep things secret to give us good stuff!

Im expecting the following:

• A Fantastic score from Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard
• The perfect big-scren realization of Batman, which we've been expecting since before Tim Burton's Batman (Screw you guys, I'm a nolanite. Not saying Burton was awful but what i saw wasnt batman.)
• The perfect big-screen realization of The Joker (No offense to Jack Nicholson whatsoever, he gave a brilliant performance but this is another view of the joker) and the rest of the batman universe
• A fun and exciting epic blockbuster with brains and a soul
• The First time i ever saw a major motion picture in IMAX
• I expect me to go to the midnight show decked out it my batman costume, or joker make-up

I want to see a scene with something along this line. The Animated Series did a great job with this and the Mask of the Phantasm was the pinnacle. Got to have him visit the cemetary.
