What Are Your Fave Childhood TV Show Theme Songs?

this thread makes me smile so much, they don't make cartoons like these

I believe this is why kids are so screwed up these days. Our violent cartoons gave kids a release of any pent up aggression without having to go to school to blow away the bully. You didn't hear about that kind of thing when I was growing up. It was only after cartoons started getting "nice" and "friendly" that kids went psychotic and homicidal. I say put the guns back in cartoons.

The daughter on Mr. Belvedere was really cute, I wonder why the three kids never continued acting.

As for Diff'rent Strokes somehow I can't picture Alan Thicke from Growing Pains singing the theme.

Alan sang the Diff'rent Strokes theme? I honestly did not know that. However, I'm not surprised as Alan's son Robin is also a gifted vocalist. Must run in the family.

^ he also has another son Brennan Thicke who as a young boy was the voice of Scott Trakker from the 80's cartoon M.A.S.K.

He wrote several theme songs back then. He had a successful career as a TV theme song composer. He often collaborated with his wife Gloria Loring on these projects, which included the themes to the popular sitcoms Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts of Life. He also wrote a number of TV game show themes, including The Wizard of Odds (for which he also sang the vocal introduction), The Joker's Wild, Celebrity Sweepstakes, The Diamond Head Game, Blank Check, Stumpers!, Whew! and the original theme to Wheel of Fortune.

This isn't a theme song, but you know y'all like it.:yay:

He-Man, Thundercats, Baywatch, Littlest Hobo, Saved by the Bell, Fresh Prince, Knight Rider, Airwolf, A-Team and Transformers, already picked from my would be list.

This is so embarrassing for me to admit but...I used to f***ing love this show. It was the answer to Adam West's Batman & Robin TV show.

MacGuyver used to be my #1 favorite TV shows from the 80's when I was growing up, and this sure brings back so much memories! Richard Dean Anderson is still the Man imo, and it makes me want to check out Netflix for old eps lol.
