A nice ten movie long list is a good place to stop.

I've got high admiration for High Noon taking place in real time.

Unforgiven
The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
3:10 to Yuma (remake)

Those are my top three.

In no particular order:

Unforgiven
The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford
The Wild Bunch
The Searchers
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
No Country for Old Men
True Grit (2010)

I have two. Dances with Wolves and Unforgiven.

PS: No Country For Old Men is not a Western.

No country for old men IS a western. It's just a contemporary one.

My favourites are:

Basically any Leone Western
Unforgiven
The Magnificent Seven
The Assassination of Jesse James.....
Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid
Blazing Saddles

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
McCabe & Mrs. Miller
The Wild Bunch
Unforgiven
High Noon
Shane
Blazing Saddles
True Grit (Coens' version)

And while it's not one of my favorites, I do have a soft spot for Open Range.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is my absolute favorite.

And while it's not one of my favorites, I do have a soft spot for Open Range.

Open Range was good, though not one of my favorites either.

I love Tombstone, True Grit, and 310 to Yuma.

The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly.

Nothing else comes close.

Once Upon A Time In the West overall.

But I love a lot of the ones mentioned.

Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid
3:10 to Yuma (remake)
No Country for Old Men (this counts right?)
Unforgiven
True Grit (remake)

Deadwood (if I can include a TV show)

Little Big Man (1970)

Hilarious and poignant. Sort of a western Forrest Gump with great performances from the entire cast.

The Professionals (1966)

Marvin. Lancaster. Palance. Ryan. Strode. Cardinale. It's The Expendables before The Expendables! Great cinematography and dialogue elevate an already great film.

High Plains Drifter (1973)

My favorite Eastwood film. Dark and surreal, Eastwood plays with Western tropes to a create an unsettling tribute to the films before it.

Death Rides a Horse (1967)

Just a great revenge story. Besides maybe when working with Leone, Lee Van Cleef has never been cooler.

I love Eastwood`s westerns + many many others. Always loved that genre.

Once Upon A Time in the West
Unforgiven
The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford
Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid
The Proposition
True Grit (Remake)
