BvS What Batman gadgets do you want to see in the film?

I like the gliding cape. But the wingspan would have to be 6+ meters in order for him to actually glide the way he does in the Arkham games.
I'm fine seeing him doing some basic gliding or using the cape to slow his falling speed though.
If he had all of this stuff where would you put it all? That belt could only hold so much...
He's a comicbook character.
I really don't think gliding was ever a part of the deal until Nolan. Really. Can we get some pages from the 80's and 90's WHO'S WHO for a ruling on this in here?
And he didnt have a grapple gun until it was introduced by Burton and then it caught on.

History doesnt matter. When something is cool and widely accepted, it stays.

As an actual GLIDER, not as part of the costume. In YEAR ONE he has an actual glider but there is no mention of it being part of the suit's capabilities. If Batman flies using a Batcopter, a BatGlider or a Bat-AutoGyro fine. But having it as a touch of his fingers ability misses the point of the most human of all heroes to me. Why not just do away with the swinging all together and make him Night-Hawkman (Owl-Man?) and stop pussyfooting around? He can fly all over and he doesn't need the car at all.
Gliding isnt that fast and you keep losing altitude all the time. You're also not bulletproof, and you cant carry any people. Rachel would be dead in Begins if Batman did not have the Batmobile.
For myself, as I said, like with Iron Man's "hidden in my bones nano armor and power to control technology with my mind" or WW's "unlimited weapons cache in my bracelets" it's just too much for me. And I am well aware that the concept of "too much" seems silly when talking about Comic Book Superheroes, but that's my view.
They need to keep pushing the envelop and adapt to new eras. Batman cant have the same tools he had 75 years ago when he debuted. A rope and a bunch of batarangs arent as exciting anymore.

Same with Ironman. Nowadays we have a million different characters dressed in metal suits. But he's the daddy, he's Ironman, he should be one step ahead. I understand what you mean though. I think Ironman should have stopped at the Extremis suit. The nano one was a bit too much to the point that it didnt feel like armor anymore.

Buy and play the Arkham videogames. Once you taste the gliding, there is no going back. It's amazing.

That reminds me. Do you guys remember the dive bomb move in Akham City? The suit would store kinetic energy and emit a pulse once batman hit the ground. I want that.

Introduction of Nolan's cape in comics. Tell me this isnt awesome.

Batman's glider cape didn't originate with Nolan. It's seen in the first few moments of Tim Burton's BATMAN. We also saw a glider cape utilized in BATMAN RETURNS.

And even before that, Batman has used his cape to glide in the comics, dating back to at least the 70's.

As far as other gadgets, blame the animated series for the grappling gun entering comics, not Burton. The grapple didn't really make its way into comics for the real Batman (Azrael used one in his gauntlets) until The New Batman Adventures went off the air and several of its designs were adapted into the mainstream comics.

I don't mind the grappling gun. I'd just like to see a grapple that doesn't just magically wrap itself around things. That always struck me as fake as hell.

I'd also like to see a legitimate batarang again.

I liked the idea of batarangs being like shurikens from the TDK trilogy. It makes a lot more sense than a bat-shaped boomerang, and it pays homage to his ninja roots. It's a pity that they were never actually used in the TDK trilogy (save one time).

I want the gun from Arkham Origins. The one he took from death stroke that fires a cable then fires onto something else bringing two objects together.

I think that batman has been shown to glide in comics but it was very rare so it wasnt considered part of his abilities. In the pics i posted above, Morrison is trying to make it stick by introducing it formally as a way to say "hey, he can glide now, use it guys!" At least that's my take on it.

The technology itself isn't going to tell Batman or STAR Labs much. He would still have to decode what it does, and how it affects the environment (or Superman).

While I no doubt believe that they will introduce Kryptonite, I think Batman would be much better served if he manipulated Superman. For instance, if he had a bomb hidden somewhere in Gotham, and told Superman that if he fights, he will take Gotham with him (even though he didn't really plant a bomb). Basically something similar to John Byrne's Man of Steel chapter. It would show Batman being a master tactician without relying on Kryptonite (in this case Superman's vulnerable to mankind being put in harm's way).
Save for Lois Lane and Faora, no one else knows that Superman has a weakness, so something like manipulation would work.

Just the essential gadgets which will be used in movie's storyline, the non-redundant ones.

Sorry form my english, I'm italian and i don't use this language in my odinary life :yay:

The classic bat-gadgets are more than enough to suffice, for me. If they use all these, I'll be a happy bat-fan.

-Batarangs (variety is nice...at least one explosive type)
-Grapple gun
-Smoke bombs
-Some sort of detective tool
-HUD in the cowl

Also, one "fancy" gadget should also be used. Something a bit more "gadgety" than the staples. Something like Supersonics or a some hacking device.

First act

Batmans tried and true gadgets ala old school

Second act

Superman aimed weapons. ( with a heavy montage scene showing his findings for makin them )

Should the new Batarangs and Bat on the Bat signal look like the Bat symbol on the Batfleck Batsuit's chest?

I want to see thoses heat seeking Batarangs, or the ones he can control

I also would like for him to put a tracking device on Supes so he can track him via satellite like in jl:war lol
