What biopic would you like to see? Who should make it? Who should play them?

The Marx Brothers. Steven Spielberg. Impossible to cast.....never mind... :(

I think there's already a thread on this topic; I remember suggesting Christian Bale in an Apatow-helmed Hitler biopic, in a sort-of-joking-sort-of-not way.

It depends because some people were famous for their talents but it doesn't mean that their lives were great for storytelling, you know? Besides docs, of course.

Walt Disney. His life would make a fabulous biopic. In terms of who should play him, I think Daniel Day Lewis or Ed Norton.

I would love to see a Beatles biopic. Maybe have some of the same cast as the Lennon biopic "Nowhere Boy" that came out recently.

Aaron Johnson as John Lennon (reprising the role from "Nowhere Boy")

Thomas Sangster as Paul McCartney (reprising the role from "Nowhere Boy")

Skandar Keynes as George Harrison (Edmund from "Chronicles of Narnia")

Matthew Lewis as Ringo Starr (aka Neville from "Harry Potter"...a little bit out there but he has the same kind of awkward look that Ringo has)

Michael Sheen as Brian Epstein, the group's manager

Paul Bettany as George Martin, the group's record producer

Carey Mulligan as Cynthia Lennon (the movie could use a female lead...why not John's wife?)

Don't know who would play Yoko. The principles should all be played by actors in their early 20s so they can play the roles during the entire span of the band's career from 1960-1970 and then some.

The Marx Bros. I can see Jude Law as a possible Zeppo, otherwise I'm drawing blanks.

They are making a Janis Joplin movie with Amy Adams as Janis. Certainly an interesting choice.

A Eurythmics biopic, starring Tilda Swinton and Gary Oldman.

Not that I really want to see a Eurythmics movie, but I was looking at an old video of Dave Stewart, and was thinking, "Damn! That's Gary Oldman with long hair and a beard, right there!" That's all.

A George Lucas biopic, played by a fully digital character because it's easier than... pUPets.

Directed by George Lucas.

I've always wanted to see a movie about Hitchcock. No idea who could play him. Possibly Bob Hoskins.

Every time a thread like this comes up, I say a good Jim Valvano pic would be nice. I've said I see Jimmy Smits in the role for some reason. If I felt Ray Ramano were a stronger actor, I'd suggest him.

A George Lucas biopic, played by a fully digital character because it's easier than... pUPets.

Directed by George Lucas.

I have a feeling Lucas has such an inflated and sheltered opinion of himself, that a perpetually shirtless Brad Pitt will play him if he every made an autobiographical movie.

The Marx Bros. I can see Jude Law as a possible Zeppo, otherwise I'm drawing blanks.

That's the problem. I've heard several rumors over the years about different people trying to put a Marx biopic into development (including Robin Williams and Billy Crystal)...but that casting problem is always going to crop up. Chico might be one you could cast...but Harpo and Groucho? Impossible!

Some people are just one of a kind. I always smirk when I see Elvis being portrayed in a movie. No one ever gets close. I'm not really and Elvis fan either. I could see the same problem with a John Wayne biopic.

I want to see a good Tupac Shakur bio film. I think it's in the works anyway but his life has intrigued me. And it would make for great drama. Not sure who would play him yet imo.

And a Beatles movie MUST be made...soon!

I want that Sinatra flick by Scorsese. I really hope he makes it after Hugo Cabret.

Jack Benny, played by Kevin Spacey!

Phillio K. Dick. Paul Giamattie. MAKE IT HAPPEN! there were talks of it before

I was sad when that Ripley (of Ripley's Believe It Or Not fame) biopic fell apart.

Also, it would probably (definitely?) suck, but a Jack Nicholson biopic could be wild...especially if they focused on some of his lesser known films and how he got started.

I'd like a biopic on Andrew Jackson, but no idea who'd play him.

An Ian Flemming movie would be awesome. I haven't a clue who could play him though, or a young Christopher Lee (Flem's cousin) or Kingsley Amis.

Idris Elba in The Life of Samuel L. Jackson. You know you want it.
