What characters would you have used in the X-Men trilogy?

The film core team would be Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, and Storm; similar to the films (quibbles about screentime aside). Professor X, of course, is there as leader in the background. Characters like Beast, Colossus, Iceman, and Shadowcat can be used in supporting parts for action scenes and the like.

Magneto is obviously the primary villain of any film series, just as he was in the actual films; the menace posed by humans would also need to be dealt with at some point, as it was in the second film; budget permitting, I would have liked to see the Sentinels involved in that.

I actually wouldn't do the Phoenix Saga for a story; thematically, I would have preferred to see the first two films more or less as they are (the first one having Magneto, the second anti-mutant bigots), and then to the third film as a Cure story, without the Phoenix plot. Use the Cure to bring the conflict between the X-Men and the Brotherhood to a head. I'd also have had Moira be the one to develop in, in order to treat her son; a good way to give Professor X a real role. The final battle would be the defence of Muir Island against the Brotherhood.

Bascally the first movie would be like Singer's 1st.
Senator Kelly wants to start a mutant registration act and proposes it in congress, but Xavier is the one who speaks against it(like Jean from the 1st movie). Magneto watched from the sides and approaches Charles afterwards, basically the whole conversation from X1. Magneto ends up forming his Brotherhood and will attempt to assasinate Senator Kelly.

Professor X - Leader of the X-Men

Cyclops - Field Leader of the X-Men, boy scout type personality. Boyfriend to Jean.
Jean Grey - Very shy woman. Feels useless because she thinks she's not as strong compared to the other team members.
Havok - The more lighthearted and playful Summers brother. Has a bit of rebel in him but mostly follows the rules
Wolverine - Short, scruffy loner. Rebellious and headstrong. Has a bad past with Sabretooth. The farthest he remember about his past that Weapon X did some work on him, he doesn't know any details though.
Beast - The teams brain and technical expert.(Starts off just as a big guy in the 1st film and turns blue & furry by 3rd film) Very intellectual, had a crush on Jean but saw that Jean was more interested in Scott. One of the team's pilots of the Blackbird.
Storm - Very earthmother personality. Keeps calm so that her emotions don't make the weather haywire.
Rogue - Overal a nice girl but inside she's very lonely, and kind of depressed. Likes Gambit and doesn't want to hurt him.
Gambit - A rebellious charmer. He follows orders but girls are what's more on his mind. Really likes Rogue but she kind of blows him off.
Iceman - The team's comedian. Always has something to sarcastic to say. Very optimistic though. Best buddies with Havok

Mystique - Exactly like her movie counterpart but with clothes on and more vocal about her distaste for homo sapiens
Sabretooth - Usually likes working alone but he joined Magneto's Brotherhood when he was told he'd most probably get closer to Wolverine than he ever could alone.
Avalanche - Recruited by Mystique, he pretty much does what he wants to get what he wants. Always been a trouble maker. One of the younger members of the Brotherhood
Toad - Magneto's b**ch basically but an extremely skilled fighter. See's Magneto as an adoptive father. The joke of the team.

You should really read all of the post of what characters would be in what movies of my trilogy. Just cuz I have 10 main X-Men, which btw I said would be in all 3 movies, does not mean every single one of them will be the main character in each movies.

Uncanny X-Men: A few years after the first X-Men movie, the Xavier Institute fully develops into a school for mutants. The X-Men basically become teachers for the new mutant students of the next generation. The idea of mutants united in X-2 would be applied here. Except the threat would be different, Apocalypse. Once the threat has ended, the X-Men and Brotherhood basically divy up other mutants who have fought alongside them based upon their beleifs. Obviously a lot of characters would not have big parts and actually have small parts to represent a large group of mutants working together to fight Apocalypse. This film would have a lot of cameos particularly with the students. Bold would represent who would have the major roles.
