Manic Panic is great, i use it all the time. Shocking Blue and AfterMidnight Blue look good, have done both several times. Sure it fades quickly, but it's something you'll have to deal with if you want it.
Right now mine is purple (manic panic purple haze), soon to be black and pink.

PS. blue is notoriously hard to get out of your hair...I'm usually left with a slight blue tinge after a bleaching or 2.
