I buy Superman/Batman monthly and I buy tpb's of writers I really like and know that won't disapoint me (like Loeb, Rucka, etc) or ones that I'm curious about. But mostly the ones I know I'm really gonna love.

You should pick up the new series of Cap. it proably the besst main stream book Marvel has out right now.

I am still waiting for Kane to tell me about his new suit in Sept.

Its the suit from the movie, Jamal said the guy whos doing Action Comics from September onwards is using the movie suit. Theyve already switched to the raised shield in the recent issue of Up, Up and Away.... but by September, the suit would have evolved to the film version....similar to the pics linked in my SIG.

Maybe for a year or two.... its all marketing.

I'm also a TBP girl, because I usually can't stand how short comics are. I love blasting through a TBP in one afternoon. The only actual comic run that I'm buying is All-Star Superman.

Read The Legion Foundations if your a fan of Conner/Superboy for those who read Titans Tomorrow it is the story of what Conner was up to while with The Legion.

As usual, I have to recommend "It's a Bird..." Awesome story...even though it's not a Superman tale per se. It's basically a story about the impact Superman and his stories can have on a person in the real world. It's pretty heavy, but it's good.
