What DC animated film do you want to see?

D'oh, stupid me. I didn't see a thread like this already existed. Anyway, to reiterate from my other post, here are my top 3:

1) The Flash
2) The Dark Knight Returns
3) Catwoman

I'd love it if they'd sneak a JLU DTV into the lineup at sometime...I really miss that show.

As far as comic stories, I'd like to see Kingdom Come, The Killing Joke (it'd be R rated though if they did it faithfully), and an unrealistic, overly ambitious choice of mine would be a Crisis Trilogy.

i'd like to see a movie like "JOKER". I think it'd be a nice change, and could have a lot of potential, of course makes some changes.
nobody gets skinned etc.
. I think it would be very theatrical, cool explosions etc, as well as a whole new joker style done in cartoons. (which could have some serious potential imo)

Another one I'd like to see is based off the knightfall saga, finally giving bane the recognition he deserves.

I'd like to see an adaptation of Batman: The Long Halloween with animation that's a collaboration betweem Tim Sale/Bruce Timm and is written by Jeph Loeb.

In no particular order

The New Gods
Supergirl-Based on the Loeb/Turner storyline
Aquaman: Time and Tide
Deadman
Rann/Thanagar war
Kingdom Come
Knightfall
Teen Titans: Judas Contract
Superboy (Conner)
Blue and Gold
Dr Fate

I think those could all make kick ass animated features. Honorable mention to Kamandi.

Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?

Do it! :D:up:

You know, I used to want an animated adaptation of Kingdom Come, but it really is too big for a 75 minute animated DVD.

'Batgirl: Year 1' would probably lend itself well to an animated DVD.

I'd love to see it in motion capture on the big screen.

I decided to make a concept image of a Dark Knight Returns DVD cover. Perhaps tomorrow, I'll try my hand at some other hypothetical DC animated movies.

Really nice, make his eyes more sqeekier so he looks more bad=ass.

If they're gonna keep making 70 minute movies, about stuff that should probably be 2 hours, I would rather not see nothing.

They should at least bump them up to 85-90 minutes. I just really hope that someone, someday makes a better adaptation of The Death and Return of Superman.

I think most of us are hoping for that day & person.

Ditto! A legend like Bruce Timm deserves to have longer lengths on his projects.

hmm... too many to name-- but a few offhand--

black lightning Year One
Firestorm (jason rusch)
Justice League- McDuffie arcs
Milestone: Icon & Rocket; Shadow cabinet
Captain Marvel (jerry ordway era arcs)

Geoff Johns & Gary Frank's "Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes" storyline is one I really wanna see.

batman the brave and the bold the movie

Supergirl probably the Loeb story
Justice by Alex Ross
Whatever happened to the Man of Tomorrow by Alan Moore
The Great Darkness Saga by Levitz
Crisis on Infinite Earths by Wolfman (it could be a disaster but its DC's big one and it would just be good to see)
Teen Titans:Titans of Tomorrow I think it was by Johns
