My mom & I both loved it. And yes, we're the same crowd that was looking forward to Mamma Mia! as well (her more than me on that one, but I do love a good musical, which that...wasn't really, but oh well).

I do think this is one of those rarities that can appeal to women who don't get into the "comic book movie" genre at all. I'm not one of those, but my mom sort of is (she loved Iron Man and Batman Begins, though, but never liked Spidey or any of the other Marvel ones).

My girlfriend fell asleep.. During the truck chase scene.. She said she liked it until she fell asleep, but falling asleep.. Man.. That's ridiculous..

On the other hand, my girl on the side loved it.. But she'd love anything I told her to.. So I'm not sure if either of them are reliable.

Nice to know I'm not alone...all in all, she's a pretty good sport though. We're going to see it again in IMAX this weekend.

Oh and all my other friends who are girls liked it too. I don't think I've talked to any that didn't. In fact, a lot of the girls I know have seen it multiple times.

Another question for women: Did you like Maggie better than Katie?

I've never been a fan of Katie Holmes, and I've always enjoyed Maggie in the movies I've seen her in. So I'm a bit biased. However Katie wasn't terrible and neither was Maggie. I think they were both mediocre. I honestly can't choose between the two. I didn't really care when Rachel died.
