What do you do to cheer up..?

Take a long walk with my dogs...clear my head. Usually does the trick.

^ spending some time with my pets is also good

I sleep for days at a time. Hibernation is really therapeutic.

Put people on ignore.

Not really, though.

Some people will get that joke, I hope.

I take a walk, and then read a really great piece of literature.

Play some social slayer in Halo 3.
spend time with pets is good too.

Such as..?
Hmmm... Well, I don't wanna spazz on you too much, because I love literature in general. But I love anything by George Orwell (1984, Animal Farm). Shakespeare is always worth reading (Twelfth Night, The Tempest, Richard III, etc.). So is Milton (I love reading sections of Paradise Lost!)... Oh! And Oscar Wilde (The Importance of being Ernest, The Picture of Dorian Gray). Lots of others. Way too many to bore people with on here (too late :hehe:).

i think of babies being born with mustaches. or maybe a cowboy monkey riding around on a tricycle.

I saw a midget in the movie theater today. That cheered me up.

That must've been adorable watching him/her getting on a seat.

it was. also, watching him climb up the stairs. I just wanted to take him and put him in my pocket!

Did you know that if you try taking a picture of one for some reason it always comes in blurry........their midget magic keeps you from proving they exist

*this is a joke, don't infract me for it. In fact if you mods want you can say something really nasty about sicilians to me. JUST DON'T INFRACT ME

Upbeat songs and silly songs usually do it for me. There are other things I like to do to improve my mood... but this is a PG board, so I'll leave it to your imagination.

Dreaming? :cwink::cwink::cwink:

A lot of people who read the "Things You Hate..." thread should get it... and then laugh accordingly.

I like to listen to some music myself to cheer up, something fun. Songs like "Tootsie Roll" or "Whoop There It Is" will do the trick.

Watching one of my favorite movies works too.

Hmmm if I'm having a bad day/run down/pissed off etc I do a variety of things.

Going to the gym helps or some sort of physical 'sporty' activity..

Sometimes I watch things on TV that I know are going to make me smile or laugh..

Mainly I try to do something that prevents me from thinking about whatever is troubling me or at least distracts me from it.

I'm usually especially into one band more than most at a given time. Right now, I'm a big fan of Aerosmith and U2, so if something gets me down, I'll just pick up my guitar and play "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" or "Livin' On the Edge." If that doesn't work, a long shower with the soundtrack from Batman Begins tends to do the trick. Or, I come on the Hype! and write a few posts in the RPGs.

it's sad and overly pathetic (on the mod part) that a disclaimer like this has to be added, especially since your comment no where in any shape or form need it.

-I smile until it becomes real

-I laugh until it becomes loud

-I fap until it becomes sore

-I go in the lounge when I'm lonely and realise that even though I have no one to talk to, it's better than saying nothing to everyone

I am here for you, my friend. Love me. Love me tender.
