Seriously, though, if I were to change one thing in the picture it would be simply to adjust the lighting ever-so-slightly so that it doesn't give off that appearance. Otherwise, I love it.

That thing on the outer thighs. I just know its going to encompass nearly the entire area.

They should have just colored those areas of the suit instead of placing some sort of plastic cover.

Well, I love the texture of the suit, but I wish it didn't extend to the shield/crest.
The shield itself looks a little off to me as well. I need to see it from a better angle.
To be honest, a natural looking spitcurl (not like Routh's, mind you) would have been cool to see.

With that said, I really like the new image. Again, the texture of the suit looks great in my opinion, as well as the cape. I was expecting a lame picture reveal similar to the one we got with Superman Returns, but this image of Cavill is epic. He looks larger than life here, exuding intensity and power.

Yeah, I see scales as well. however that doesn't really bother me right now. I do wish I could see it in motion or other angles though so i can make a better judgement. The thing that does kind of bother me about the texture is that it extends onto the \S/.

The part that worries me the most is the mid-section. It seems clear that they removed the trunks which is disappointing but not the end of the world. It is possible to make a trunk-less design look cool. However I don't know if they pulled it off. I am worried that we will get a picture revealing truly what is there and that it will look ugly and awkward.

I also hate the Ugly Saturday night fever hair, if anything is fixed it should be this.

I chose trunks because the Hair does bother me, but not because it lacks a spitcurl. I can care less about the spit curl, but I would like him to have stylish hair

Hair, I couldnt care less about the spit curl either, i just want a forward looking hair.
Also, being teased about whether the trunks are there or not. I'll be really disappointed if the underwear are still there.

I don't want to be negative toward the pic because I do LOVE it as a whole,
But the desaturation worries me.
As for the suit itself, besides the fact that I would have designed it differently personally, the texture is all that sort of bothers me.
But I'll get over it!

When I first saw the pic, I'm in AWE. I have it as my desktop background and it's just stunning. What I least like is the unpredictability of the trunks because it's the least visible through the whole shot. We really don't know if there's shades of red OR if they took the trunks out completely. Other than that, I love the demeanor of the pic. I love the stance, I love the message and I love the CAPE especially, it reminds me of the main of a lion.

Texture and S are to my liking as well.

I'm surprised there are so few not liking the \S/.

It's a terrible design. Really one of the ugliest things I've seen, hat is, the Earth-2 emblem in general.

Honestly, Change the emblem and I could pretty much live with everything else, well, maybe not the hair. It's such a waste as Cavill has such perfect NATURAL looking hair for it.

Put the trunks and yellow belt with the red loops back, and I'll deal with all my other little nitpicks (texture, cape length, colour palette).

gdw, I'm suprised by the lack of reaction to the S, as well. Thought the thing has grown on me. I'm also suprised no one has really reacted to the wrist guards. Hate those.
