Curious what people think. In fact, if you want, list 6 movies, This can be movies you personally think logically fit, or they can be movies you simply really desire to see in the MCU or be a combo of both.

For my list it will be a combo of both.

The first three will be your main picks and the other three are your “wildcards”.

1) Fantastic Four
2) The Incredible Hulk : Planet Hulk
3) Nova
Wildcard 1) Runaways
Wildcard 2) Secret Wars
Wildcard 3) Submariner

In 2012? I thought we only had the Avengers.:oldrazz: I joke, check the title of your thread man.

I think its the FF, Spidey 2 and Dr Strange 2. But Runaways is very likely, Feige has talked about how he likes them. Don't they have a script written for them already?

If it's not Squirrel Girl, Obnoxio the Clown, and Hellcow I'll never forgive Marvel.

:p

Serious guesses:
1) Guardians 3
2) Doctor Strange 2
3) Fantastic Four
Wildcard 1) Iron Man 4
Wildcard 2) Cap 4 (Winter Soldier?)
Wildcard 3) Blade

I'm also guessing there'll be a Spider-Man film that isn't dated yet.

I hope, but highly doubt
-Runaways
-Fantastic Four
-Secret Invasion

But more likely:
-Cap 4
-Strange 2
-GotG 3

What I'd like to see:

Guardians of the Galaxy 3
Spider-Man sequel
Fantastic Four (if the rights return)

The only one I'd actually bet money on is GotG 3. No way will they end that franchise at two movies, and 2020 would be three years after Vol. 2 comes out, so it would be high time for a sequel then.

I don't even think Marvel really knows yet. But, my hope/guess is Guardians 3, Dr Strange 2 and Spider-Man 2 or F4 (if they made/make a deal)

Can a Mod help a brother out and change the 2012 to 2020 in the title?

1. Moon Knight
2. Moon Knight and Friends
3. The Amazing Adventures of Moon Knight

I think 2 of the 3 are pretty clear:

1. Doctor Strange 2
2. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3

the third one, though, will be a new franchise if they keep their pattern. so depending on whatever goes on behind the scenes at the moment it will be:

3 a) Marvel's Fantastic Four
3 b) another new property

It definitely won't be Fantastic Four so my guess is:

Doctor Strange 2
Guardians of the Galaxy 3
Runaways or maybe something like Nova or Ms. Marvel

  1. Captain Marvel 2
  2. Dr. Strange 2
  3. Silver Surfer
1. Moon Knight
2. Moon Knight and Friends
3. The Amazing Adventures of Moon Knight
As much as I'd love to see him on screen, a Netflix series suit him more.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 3
Marvel's Fantastic Four
Doctor Strange 2

Not sure if Spider-man 2 counts for one of the dates, but if he does then he definitely goes in one of those slots. Not sure which one he'd replace though.

I want Planet Hulk and Fantastic Four...

But we'll probably get GOTG3, Dr. Strange 2 and Spider-Man 2 which I'm still fine with.

Marvel has the habit of not announcing a sequel until after observing the success of the previous movie first, and I have a sneaky suspicion these dates all be new MCU titles, but only time will tell.

I remember hearing that as well.

1. Doctor Strange
2. GOTG3
3. Spider-Man(If Sony plays nice)
3. She-Hulk or Spider-Woman(If Sony doesn't play nice)

Even if Marvel did get the rights back to the F4, there is no way Marvel is rebooting such a poor franchise so soon. If anything, expect F4 villains to show up before the F4.

Dr. Strange 2: I'd say this is virtually a given, short of the first film bombing. Strange will have the longest stretch between films of any other franchise that is likely to see continuation. It stays in the November slot, like the original, though I wish they'd bump it up for Halloween.

Spider-man 2 or GOTG 3: Both have the same yearly gap. Guardians will clearly have huge implications from Infinity War to deal with, but if Spidey gets the symbiote during the course of those two films, so will he. My personal pick is Spider-man, for the May slot. Marvel will want to kick off the post-Thanos world with their biggest star going forward.

Fantastic Four:It's virtually a given that there will be a new franchise in 2020. I am convinced a deal was made and the rumor was true. Built around a proper hype machine, the Fantastic Four's return home would be the perfect film to hold the traditional summer blockbuster spot in July. Other options would be Runaways or Thunderbolts, as those are the two teams most consistently bounced around in talks from Marvel.

It all depends on how each film plays out financially in phase 3.

I think with Infinity War being over, Marvel will want to have some safe bets starting Phase 4. An Inhumans film at this point seems like it will be scrapped in favor of a Fantastic Four movie (who knows, maybe Marvel will try to tweak the FF origins making them more Inhuman based with rest of Inhumans the backdrop for the newly introduced ones known as the FF). A full-on terrigen mist being released throughout the earth creating "mutants" (in place of inhumans if Marvel gets the rights back) may also occur in the wake of Infinity War.

A 2nd Spidey film (assuming the 2017 one does decent) I'd say is also a sure bet.

The 3rd film will more than likely be a Gaurdians film. From this Marvel may try to spinoff a few other franchises or meld a few past ones into the film to sell it more.

Edit: I suppose it's also possible Marvel may try to do some lower budget movies (that have name recognition) likely to turn a good profit too. Perhaps 3 very expensive movies in 1 year would be too much now that I think of it. I think though with Sony involved with the budget of Spiderman this one's the most likely though.

The talk of spinoffs from Guardians made me think, if the rumors about Beta Ray Bill being in Ragnarok are true, maybe we could see a Stormbreaker film? I doubt it would be in 2020, though, because Marvel will likely load it with heavy hitters to show they can keep things going without their founding franchises.

Please guys, the Fantasic 4 rumor has already been debunked. Besides, even if Marvel were to get the rights back, Marvel would at least let the franchise cool off for a few years. Unlike Spider-Man, there has never been a truly successful F4 film. If Marvel were to release a F4 film, all the GA would know is that another bad F4 movie is being made. Most people wouldn't even know or care that it's being made by Marvel.

There is no way Marvel has been building up the Inhumans just to have the movie scrapped. Scrapped in favor of a F4 movie, no less. An Inhumans movie has so much more potential.

only if you believe the studios. the x-men tv deal makes no sense for MS to make UNLESS they get some of their rights back in return and FOX has nothing to win with keeping them. but this is a discussion for another thread. let's just say it is very likely some kind of agreement was found

Indeed, Spider-man was debunked a few times. Time will tell.

1. Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 - This I think can be set in stone.
2. Black Panther 2 - He's getting some screen time in Civil War, gonna have his own solo film and will most likely play a role in IW. I think a sequel is inevitable. Would probably be the Nov 2020 date
3. Doctor Strange 2

I think they may be place holder spots. But if all goes well with Phase 3 then.

1. Spider-Man 2
2. New Hulk Solo
3. Gaurdians 3

Wildcard: Fantastic Four Reboot
