What EXACTLY are Phoenix's Powers?

... uh.. Im more of a Famke/Jean/Phoenix Fan I actually came to be an X-Fan rather late in the game. Alot of X-Lore is just a recap of what I used to know. I wasn't all into X-Men that much but I did watch the cartoons when I was a kid. Cyclops was my fave...but I didn't pay attention to Jean... by the time I saw the movie verse of the X-Men, I fell in love with Jean (famke) ... yet because of Scott's connection with Jean, it really helped me appreciate, care, understand Jean a whole lot more. so I guess you can say I'm passionate for... her... lol. Jean rocks!!

She's dead right now so she's not on a team. But if she were than yeah she would be the most powerfull

She is the most powerful mutant ever , thats why sometimes in the comic shes refeared to as a god, you should buy the Dark Phoenix saga its a good read and you find out more about her good/evil side and her relationship with Scott. And she can change her clothes to anything which is cool lol.

Phoenix Endsong is worth getting as well and Enter the Phoenix her first Phoenix apprench. But the comics are good as you see Jean fighting the Dark Phoenix or her being good so worth reading.

I figured in the movie though that Jean/Phoenix's powers were slightly different.

For a start she wasn't the human embodiment of the cosmic Phoenix force, it was simply her own mutation.

Also, we never saw movie Phoenix do most of the abilities listed for comic book Phoenix, so it's unknown if she is even able to do half of that stuff, such as travel through time and create dimensional portals.

As far as we saw in the movie, she has the ultimate psychic power. Telekinisis so powerful its beyond comprehenison. With this power she is able to focus on every single molecule of anything she wants, ie: a human, and by using her telekinesis, simply pull them all apart, giving the appearence that they "combust". And Telepathy so powerful she could defeat Professor X, the most powerful telepath in the world, in a mind battle.

I think in the second one you saw more of her Phoenix power and what it can do and also i think in the second one they show the 'good' Phoenix by the way shes using ger powers.

I have no idea what that thought is and i don't know if i want to know lol.
But yeah you can be two different fans at once, i have nothing agaist Storm fans really, as she is a good character more in the comics then film, but i thought they did well with her in the third film, better action bits and character development as well.
