What EXACTLY are Phoenix's Powers?

Well i thought they would show her whole power but i was shocked and amazed at everything she done especial killing Prof X.

I love both lol, her evil grin she does to Logan as his trying to reach her. But i get really sad when he kills her. As its Jean.
The one on one battle with Prof X, so hard to chose.

Yeah the Phoenix V Prof X and the Phoenix V Alcatraz p) scenes are my two favourite scenes from the movie.

I would probably say the Phoenix destroying Alcatraz scene to be my favourite, as Phoenix really let loose, and seeing her destroying everything so easily made my jaw drop! I loved when all the water raised up too, it went so high! Plus the score was absolutely perfect, I was getting shivers by how awe-inspiring and god-like she seemed standing atop that mass of wreckage, eyes burning, coat and hair flowing. Amazing.

Yeah it was just the lighting. It has never looked like fire to me though. During the Prof X scene it does the same thing, and my friend asked me "Is her hair on fire?" and I replied "I wish."

We all wished she was in full fire effect, see thats when my theroy of when shes Dark Phoenix she has none, but in X2 when she was using Phoenix for good at the end she gets the fire effect.

Yeah thats what most people have been suggesting. I just see it though as Singer and Ratner had different views on how they wanted the Phoenix to be presented on screen. Singer wanted classic flamey Phoenix. Ratner went for something new.

Because technically, if that theory were true, ie: good Phoenix = flames, bad Phoenix = zombie mode, then the flames still should've popped up at one point or another.

For example, at the end when Jean comes through to Logan before he stabs her. She was the "good" Jean there. So technically flames should've erupted from her, and the black eyes die down to a red colour. But it didn't.

Nope, Good Phoenix = Jean. There were only two sides to Jean in the movies, Jean, and Dark Phoenix.

It was Jean in X2 who raised the jet and stopped the wave from destroying it, and flames erupted from her when she tapped into the magnitude of power that was within her.

Therefore in X3, when Dark Phoenix subsides and Jean surfaces when Logan says he would die for her, she should have burst into flames because technically, she was still using s**tloads of power, floating wreckage, raising the water hundreds of feet into the air, etc.

Techincally, Good Phoenix should just be called Jean, and Dark Phoenix should be just Phoenix. But people keep mucking it up. It was only Jeans dark persona that named itself the Phoenix.

I like Dark Phoenix what she can is is amzing but i like Jean more her character he struggle, her realationship with Scott and more, so more of a Jean fan then Dark Phoenix.

That's the comics. This is the movie. It's a totally different thing. In the movie Jean is not Phoenix, technically. Her dark, second persona is, by name. Jean was always Jean.
