What game has the best enemy reaction to being shot?

I know it's an odd question, but I am a real stickler for games like Gears of Wars (Despite how awesome the game is) where the badguys just stand there and take the bullets till they finally fall down.

What game has the best physical reaction to an enemy taking a bullet? The most reaslistic looking.

A game like Saints Row has decent reactions, but only because of the rag doll physics. While Stranglehold has pretty good reactions, because they went through and animated a bunch of ways to get hit.

I just want a game where if you shoot them in the head, they snap back and crumple, or if you shoot them in the knee they collapse and flop over.

I think Rainbow Six : Vegas is pretty good in that dept.

I like how in Metal Gear Solid if you shoot them in the nuts they'll go down clutching them.

Resident Evil 4 has probably the best enemy reactions. Location specific, well mo-capped, everything.

I think Hitman Contracts and Bloodmoney had some good work in them, too.

playing the stranglehold demo it has the best reaction with the special power that follows the bullet into the body. it is awesome when you shoot somebody in the nuts the clutch there man purses. wherever you shoot is where there react and i think nobody can argue with slow-mo nut shots

I dont know about getting shot, but Marathon: Durandal has the best flame thrower reaction ever...seriously, do a multi-player flamethrower only game with it, you'll be laughing your ass off at the hillarious scream sound effect every time you hit a guy with it

RS: Vegas is pretty cool. I love watching a terrorist soldier run down the stairs towards me and capping his knees just to watch his legs buckle underneath him so he falls the rest of the way.

Which is rare for me cos I'm a stickler for headshots.

The best i've seen has to be Resident Evil 4.
I love when you snag 'em in the face and they throw thier head back holding thier face.. then snap forward and give that creepy ass look, and growl at you.
Also, I really really like the Punisher ps2 game for some reason.

RE4 for sure. THe Stranglehold animations aren't truly real time. In RE4 you can shoot ten enemies in various body parts and have them react incredibly realistically.

While I like the reactions for Resident Evil 4, it's incredibly frustrating to empty an entire clip into an enemy's head and they still don't die!

Max Payne 2.

I love scoring headshots with the desert eagle. The loud bang followed by the dull thud as the body falls is just... I love it in a sick way.

okay...sorry my answer wasnt what you wanted. Sorry let me try again "oh my god the best deaths are in Halo, bioshock and Gears of War! i just bust a nut when i see them die." PLEASE....i can see the boards havent changed. when the hell is it ever going to be okay for someone to have.a diverse out look on something? No everyone has to like the samething or you'll be alienated from the group. oh well people already hate me for my console of choice and games of choice. What will they think of next.
