I'm Not Messing Around, I'm Doing Important Stuff in The Superhero Cinematic Civil War Thread - Part 61

After avoiding COVID for the past 5 years, I finally got it.

This really does feel awful. View attachment 140297

And it hits right before 4th of July which is one of my favorite holidays as it revolves around grilling out, playing games and blowing stuff up. And I just invested in some mortar fireworks as I was driving through South Carolina. :(

Sorry it finally caught up to you amigo. I had it 2 times. The first time, it hit me pretty hard. 103 degree fever and couldn't sleep without ice packs placed all over me, mucus like crazy, slept nearly 20hrs a day for 3 days, etc. 2nd time it was fairly mild. More like a sinus infection. I hope yours isn't as bad as mine that 1st time

Ironheart absolutely should have been a movie. But, I enjoyed 6 episodes over 40 minutes.

I do appreciate that one of the reactors that popped up on my youtube feed blurred (spoiler)'s face, even though I knew about them and who they were.
And yet Marvel posted it on their IG reels at like 9:01
Way to just blow your load Marvel, Give us a little time, c'mon

What if F1: The Movie wins the summer :o
@Kane52630 will put it above Sinners.
I still have Sinners on top but it's my clear #2.

But nah Covid sucks to hell. Get some meds, some rest and stay hydrated and out of your loved ones' faces lol.

I’m on episode 3 of Ironheart, something about the first episode (all the flashbacks, maybe it was the dialogue, idk) didn’t grab me but now that we’re into the meat of the story I’m really enjoying this.

Riri is great, I’m super intrigued by the Hood, and I’ve already seen like 4 spoilers so might as well jump in before I stumble across anymore

And Ironheart has the best needle drops in the MCU, hands down.

The last batch of episodes this week using Erykah Badu's 'The Healer' and Santana's 'Evil Ways' coupled with that awesome use of Chaka Khan's 'Ain't Nobody' last week?!

Everyone is going to end up talking about the final episode of this show. Which hey, I get it. Sasha Baron Cohen as Mephisto is a huge get and people have been waiting for him, and I hope he is around for a long time and we see him again soon.

But let's also not ignore the rest of the show. It was a very pleasant surprise, and plenty of characters I really liked. Riri was a nice and complicated character. Natalie was a great AI companion. Zeke Stane was entertaining. I likes The Hood quite a bit. This was just a fun show.

Confirmed talk by critics that a lot of them are not getting to see Superman before the embargos break.

All I know is my Reed ML figure came yesterday, and my Flame Off Johnny and Surfer are coming today. Sadly I gotta wait another week or 2 for Flame On Johnny, Sue, and Ben. I am so happy to finally have a MCU Reed for pair with my Avengers and assorted MCU heroes!!!

It's really a damn shame that that show isn't on any streaming sites yet.

I'd keep it on for background noise like I do Sealab 2021 and Family Guy.
