What if DOOM stopped the Hulk?

Here's an idea, which might boost the status of Marvel's #1 nemesis.

What if everyone was unable to stop the Hulk from rampaging during World War Hulk, and only Victor Von Doom was able to come up with a brilliant plan?

Would that mean they have to grudgingly respect him?

Eh? eeeeh?

Having Lex Luther defeate Darskeid, the JLU's greatest foe saves the world. And it ticks Superman off and a few others too in the process.

So if Dr. Doom saved the world then many heroes like Reed, Thing, and the FF, Iron Man, and others would have to admit it. Plus the public might see him in a more heroic light.
