It's really hard to have any optimism for this film. I can get my head around drastic changes to characters in an attempt to update something. I may not feel anything for Dr. Doom being a nerdy troll, but I can just about get my head round it. It's the part about the Fantastic Four being a 'low-fi, realistic sci-fi'. It beggars belief. Honestly, a lot of what I've heard from the people involved in regards to the movie just makes me wonder if they even know what they are adapting. It just doesn't sound like they have the first clue.
