If you remember back during the Sony hack it was revealed that before signing the marvel deal Sony looked at bringing back Raimi to direct a new Spiderman movie. What if they revisited that idea and got him for the Far From Home sequel? He even seems open to the idea of doing a other one.

Could be spectacular. I still wish that they went with Spidey 4/5 instead of those amazing Spider-Man films.

He wouldn't be my first choice but it'd definitely be an improvement. Raimi's Spidey films had clunky dialogue and humour sometimes but they also had heart and understood the core of the character which is more than can be said for Jon Watts.

I'd love if they could get Phil Lord (Into the Spider-Verse) to write the script for MCU Spidey.
