Golic didn't slit Morses throat. He knocked him out and said "No more cigerettes for you".

He slit the throat of the guy guarding where the alien was kept.

So you've seen the extended cut then? I dunno how you can say the prisoners didn't get any development then. Golic for one did. Dillon got LOADS of development. Even Morse had a few more scenes, but granted he was mainly comic relief.

Even the guy who tried to rape Ripley redeemed himself.

Then Hicks's reaction when he sees them.

Anyone else love how this film was shot? That may be saying alot, but some of the angles I really loved. Like when Hicks was running to catch up to get to the vents when the the room is lit in red and the shot when Hicks and Ripley run through the halls, Hicks looking all over the place for aliens while still running and trying to hold onto Ripley at the same time. He looked panicky as hell.

Apone: It's a rescue mission, you'll love it. There's some juicy colonists' daughters we have to rescue from their virginity. Heh!

I always felt that Aliens was the least interesting, visual wise. I find it somewhat boring in that sense. Sill loves it though, the story, characters, and action make up for it.

I think the camera angles and the way it was shot was great. And the designs of the vehicles and weapons were obviously very memorable. I mean the pulse rifles, the smart guns, the drop ship, the sulaco, the apc, they all looked ****ing awesome.

But visually in terms of set design and the overall look, Alien 3 was the most interesting of the bunch, for me. But it's a Fincher movie, that's to be expected. I liked that he brought his own style, but still stayed pretty true to Giger's whole style as well.

Burke: Maybe we can build a fire, sing a couple of songs, huh, how about we try that.
Newt: We gotta get inside. It's gonna be dark soon, and they mostly hunt at night. Mostly.

It's pretty much impossible for me to put into words how much I love Aliens. Blargh.
