Well, they could always go with Plan B:

Ideally, the glasses are just one element in the overall package.
But as the stories have been told, I think theres been a tendency to reduce the totality to a single token. Thus, if Clark is without glasses (or has them briefly knocked off) he quickly fumbles to get them back on before facing Lois or Jimmy, etc. This gives the impression that the eyewear - alone - is the difference between disguise and recognition. In a way, the mythos has become the victim of its own "shortcuts."

The New Clark Kent the only problem now is they think he is Geraldo Rivera! LOL!!!
Charlie Chaplin as Superman??? No wonder the guy was a Man of many talents!!![]()
I'm sure you guys have seen the video where Zach kinda makes fun of the glasses clark wears.... So What if they dont have clark wear them in MOS?? How will they change the story to protect his identity? Any Ideas?? After that video and the fact that there are zero photos of clark with glasses and the fact they wanna make this flim seem more real and make more sense, I truly think they went a new route.
I think he should be able to accelerate the growth of his facial hair. Ontop of that give him the glasses and a different hairstyle and you have a solid disguise
It's just so ridiculous to me that nothing can be just a simple, innocent part of a story any more. Everything's got to be overly complicated, over thought, over explained.
Clark Kent has disguised himself with glasses and an alteration of personality since his conception decades ago.
Why is it suddenly a problem now? Why is it any less believable now than it was then?
It was never believable in the literal sense. It was never intended to be. It never needed to be.
