What If They Came Out To You...?

Whoa. At first, I read this as "What If They Came After You...?" and then checked out the content of the topic post. That sort of frightened me.

But, in truth, I would respond with initial support for speaking out. However, if they start to do strange, embarrassing things (I mean trying to kiss me or imitating my girlfriend in public, and this has happened before), I wait to see if their brash behaviour gets out of hand. If it does, I'm out of the friendship. If not, then we'll be friends. Otherwise, I don't really care.

As far as I can tell, yes.
then I haven't a clue. To me, it sounds like she doesn't like being bi, and therefore doesn't want anything to do with it and is , in fact, agaimst it. But I don't really know her, so it's impossible to say.

My best friend came out as a lesbian. Did it surprise me? No, but then again she had told me a year or so previously about her experiments with making out with her female roommates....which did surprise me a bit. It never bothered me she was gay. I really don't care if someone is gay or not, it doesn't change who they are as a person.

In my case, when I admitted it to my Best Friend it was weird because I LIKED him.

Well, There I am out of the closet. However, no one other than my Best Friend and you people know my sexuality. Dad would KILL ME and MOM, OMG, MOM!!!

I went through times where I told myself it was a faze, now I accept me for me.

If a friend came out to me, guy or girl, it'd be something like. "Uh. Awesome. Because of me?"

lol, and it works both ways.

But that's just a joke to break the awkwardness. Then I'd be like, "Cool, all the power to you."

When I revealed I Liked my Best Friend, he actually had a Good Reaction.
It was that he LIKED me as well, no... HE LOVED me and now he could admit it instead of keeping it inside. So, yeah that was way too much info for a Superhero Hype board anyway. :O

O chief, you're an annoying type of adorable.

Awww:heart: That was too much. :oldrazz:

lol, don't mind me. I'm a total jackhole.

Chiefy's got a boyfriend, Chiefy's got a boyfriend!:heart::o

Really? What if Spoons came out? If he sees this, I want him to answer the same about you.

Ok, well that would both surprise and bother me. This is a person I want to marry one day and that I know extremely well, so it would definitely be both bizarre and disappointing.

I've actually had two friends out themselves to me; as in...I was the first person they ever told. They knew I was a safe place to do that because I really don't care. If that's who they are then that's who they are. I like them for who they are and if they can be even more comfortable in their own skin by no longer living a lie then I fully support that. I have a couple of cousins that are gay as well and for a long time I was the only person in the family who didn't ostracize them.

Well, you're just a beacon of wisdom, tolerance, and support, aren't you?:cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

but ....um, why would ANYONE, ANYWHERE care about what particular sex a given person is attracted to? it's 2007 for god's sake.
