So I have £200 to spend on DVD hardware next week and i'm wondering what would be better value?
A DVD recorder
has a pretty impressive spec. but i don't record that much TV, i think i'd record doctor who and its associated shows but thats it. Really I want the HDMI so that my DVDs look better on my screen and the USB input so the shows i download like smallville can be played on the TV.
or
A Blu Ray player
bottom of the market but true HD however the recordable discs are too expensive so I'll still love my VHS. It has no hard drive so recording has to be on discs. No USB either. Plus my LCD TV won't really benefit considering its only small. Plus the discs are more expensive so could be a leech on my funds for nothing. BUT ITS HD!!
So pick for me! or give me more suggestions that could work for me.
