Are they really hyped, mildly interested or completely avoiding it?

Most of the people I know are the chicks that I work with, so as you can tell they could care less.

i lend a friend a copy of my book after he saw one of the TV spots, and he said it looked really good and interesting. will find out what he thinks of the book today.

I showed some friends the trailer. They said it looked 'pretty epic'.

One friend of mine will watch it but isn't expecting it to be good. I'm not seeing it with him. His words: "I don't know why they call it the most celebrated graphic novel of all time. Nobody's ever heard of it."

Nobody really of mine has talked to me about it.

Though ym best friend sometimes asks me questions like most of all, "Is the blue guy naked for the entire film?"

I say in a few scenes he's dressed ad he's like, "But the rest of the film he's naked."

But I just say, "You gotta love the blue wang. The Viet Congs bowed down to that thing."

One of my friends in my gym class who never read it wants to see it, i gave him my copy during gym class and couldn't stop reading it, he actually wants to finish the whole GN

i got them hyped up, they cant wait

for the most part, my friends are pretty indifferent to it. some of them seem open to it, but mostly only because of my excitement for it.

Well I got one of my buddies to read the book so thats a plus.

My best friend is excited about it even though he knows nothing about Watchmen. The trailers must have done its job.

I'm going with a couple friends who know nothing about the Watchmen. I refuse to tell them anything about it other than they won't regret it. They're looking forward to it.

He does have a point. Outside of the comic community it's virtually unknown.

I guess I can kinda see that, but usually he has a "If I haven't heard of it, nobody has." way of thinking about things. Eh, I'll see it with my friends who are expecting it to be good.

my friends are open to it. Actually, where I work at, two people actually bought the novel so that's rad. But there's this one guy who is convince that the movie will be trash, despite not reading it. I don't get upset because I don't like him, nor does anyone else. (He's kinda..awkward and not funny. But keeps on trying to be funny. WTF)

I have had like 5 friends ask if they can borrow it from me ,and I had one friend when like last summer I let him borrow it cause I thought he would like it and he loves it and just staying updated as I am. Now one friend has the book now and I want it back cause she has had it for like 3 weeks

I lent a few of my friends the book. Before they were sort of "looks cool", now they're more like "MUST SEE".

As for friends who haven't read the book, most intend to see the movie. Quite a few intend to pick up the GN as well.

Pretty much all my friends who haven't read it are at least optimistic about it.

Do you work at a perfume counter or something?
Walgreens actually. I tried to explain the story the best I could to some of them but it's like everything I said fell on deaf ears.

One of them did say that every guy she knows is exactly about the movie.
