What is the first thing you think of when you think of "art"?

I think of Scott McCloud's definition of art:

"Any activity which does not have the primary purpose of survival or reproduction"

Expression. In its ultimate form.

I believe the meaning of life is to create art and share it with others.

Tracing is the auto-tune of art.

Sure it may make you hit the note, but it in no way is a tool nor does it make you an artist.
Any tool can be used in different ways. Some people DO use auto-tune as an artistic tool and not a crutch (Bon Iver comes to mind, but I'm sure there are countless examples). You're free to your opinion, but it's pretty narrowminded and screams pretentious.

Well, that discounts recreation.

I first think of paintings, but then my mind remembers all the other formsand instantly associates it with the word " creativity."
