I didn't get into gaming until I was around six, but I started off with a great one...

This game was so freaking awesome. Anyone who likes adventure titles (even those without humor) MUST play this.

Either Defender or Asteroids for the Atari 2600.

I was 3.

Sim City 2000 yo

I always knew you had horrible taste, but I never could have guessed you got it from having such a bad start.

Sim City 2000 is the weakest in the series by miles, and is something I wouldn't even let my enemies play. :(

I had a few Atari 2600 games but I think Pac Man was the first.

It must have been either Pac-Man, or the Spider-Man game for the Atari 2600. I vaguely remember playing them before I got a NES with Super Mario Bros.

mario brothers with duck hunt. or zelda, whichever one came out first... but i liked mario bros better, much easier.

The first game I ever picked out and bought all by myself was:

Thats the earliest game I can remember besides some game where you were on some board surfing to an island but I could never get there (for the Apple II).

Super Mario Bros with Duck Hunt and Mike Tyson Punch-Out.
