What is the future of DC films after the failure of "Green Lantern"?

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm personally tired of people saying that big-fantasy superheroes don't work. Thor worked. The common denominator is not dark heroes or non-powered heroes or anything of the sort.

It's good movies.

You'd think it would be obvious, right?

they f'ed when they didn't bother to make it an all inclusive universe instead of a nolanverse. from nolan's films they could have piggy backed and taken it from there. maybe a batman/superman world's finest or a trinity film could have followed the trajectory they're currently on. but i think that makes way too much sense for them.

What? Set GL in the same universe as Nolan's Batman movies? Absurd. It'd never work. GL wouldn't be a space cop, he'd end up being a special forces soldier whose ring is nothing but a communications device.

Lol this is hilarious, but oh so true.

:lmao:

did batman and superman have a tryout between wonder woman and green lantern to see who would be the third wheel in trinity? how could i have missed that?

I don't think so. I think it's just because Wonder Woman is more iconic and popular than GL.
