DareDevil 338-342: Kruel

So there's this guy, Victor Kreuller, his friends and foes all know him as Kruel, and this is a briefing of his story:

• He was a worker for Kingping who betrayed him
• Kingpin chased him all the way to a Ghost something diner in the middle of nowhere, cause he stole drugs from him
• Some people including Ben Urich, Franklin Nelson and Karen Page were there, and Kruel saw them
• Kingpin fed him some of the drugs and burned the diner with Kruel in it
• Memory was burnt from witnesses minds by some med
• Kruel remembers the details of what happened to him, but with that he chases after those he saw in the diner to help him remember what he forgot after surviving the fire and planning for years to get his vengeance on Kingpin, he wants witnesses to help him remember through hurting them badly and causing some of them brain damage
  

What kind of a story is that? The 90s were really bad for DareDevil, terrible comics of him were many
