Batman: Gotham by Gaslight
I hoped to find more joy reading this than I did. It's good, and it's enjoyable, but not the level of joy I expected to find reading this.

The Incredible Hulk 151-155
When I was binge reading the Hulk back in 2011 (can't believe it's been this long ago), I skipped on a number of issues between 131 and the debut of Sal Buscema as the regular artist on the title, I grew really tired of how Herb Trimpe (he will be missed) drew the character, it's even worse looking at a title contemporary to Hulk's at the time, with a more appealing design for the character as a guest star than he had in his own book.

The Amazing Spider-Man 039-118
Quality is in a spiraling level, but the joy these stories bring me is mostly consistent.
Stan Lee's outdated dialogue works like a charm for 60s Spider-Man comics, there's a lot of charm behind it. It's a shame he couldn't replicate it to most of the other titles he worked on back then.

The Savage She-Hulk 01-02
Yep, her very first volume, a couple of issues before she had control over her transformation.
It's pretty entertaining.

Always great to see other Animal Man fans! Most people go "who?" even comic readers.
He's only had like 3 or 4 noteworthy runs, so it isn't surprising. Jeff Lemire's was great too.

If WB decides to make a movie with him, I think it would be a very refreshing take on the genre.
 
The Amazing Spider-Man 119-122
Nice to see the art consistently good, and continues to be good until Gil Kane left the book after issue 124.

Amazing Fantasy 15
Just Spider-Man's feature, as corny as some of the dialogue (and science) is, everything else is still good.
What a weird order to read the title, go to Ditko era after completing the Night Gwen Stacy Died.

The Amazing Spider-Man 001-008
Those old issues never fail to bring me joy, that includes the second feature in issue 8, with a Peter Parker so *****ey he makes the Amazing Spider-Man film version look like the obedient son in comparison.
