What Is The Most Serious Injury You've Ever Sustained?

I hyperextended my pinky once. :o
Yeah I don't play around much.

Stapled though my thumb with a pneumatic stapler, cut off a pinky (reattached), road rash, broken nose, my fingernail fell off a week after I pinched it really bad on a gun, cut my hand on a jig saw really bad, dart stuck in my foot, turned an atv over on me the exhasut burnt my back and I couldn't get it off of me. So far I've had like 50 stitches.

No broken bones though (except my nose). I drink lots of milk.:)

I've never was broke a bone. But it would hav to be either when i got busted in the mouth and there was a hole in my lower lip you could see through, I cut one thumb off almost once, And once in high school i was football in gym class and someones shoulder smashed into my eye. It was all looking like raw meat and stuff. I had to wear eye protection for like a week orso.

all though girls dug it though asked me what happen. i told them and were like awwwww!!!

apparently broke my nose when i was young but i can't remember the incident.

had a time duratino of dislocation my patella when i was younger, that was pretty bad, needed extensive physio to get back into shape.

oh and i had a hockey injury that battered up my foot pretty bad although the doctors said it wasn't broken, was limping for ages....

When I was 3 my mom had a new baby (my sister) in the house to watch, so I would escape and get into mischief. I had been told not to play on the culvert (those big farm machines that turn over the ground)... but I loved climbing... So I climbed up to the top, slipped, fell, and sliced open my head. I didn't want to go to my mom, because she'ld be mad at me for disobeying the rules... I went to the neighbours and told him I had a headache. He told me to sit under the tree, out of the sun, and my headache should go away. I did as he told me for a little while, put my hand up to my head and realized it was bleeding. Went back home and told my mom I was bleeding and fainted. Mom rushed me to the hospital. I don't know how many stitches I was given but if the cut had been an inch deeper, I wouldn't be typing this right now.

Broken spine, shattered elbow, 2 cracked ribs, punctured and subsequently collapsed lung, torn liver and and various cuts and bruises all in one go. I now have rods on my spine and pins in my elbow...

...do I win a prize :woot:

i don't mean to laugh at your misfortune, but that was one of the funniest things i've heard in a while!!!

I tore two ligaments, cartilage and menisus in my right knee playing football. Funny thing was no one even touched me. It was one of those once in a lifetime freak injuries. I'm so lucky.

Broken my left femur, crushed all the toes on my right foot, broke my right wrist, had the toe nails on my feet cut down, and sprained both ankles and have little or no cartilige in my knees

Pulled my rib cage in sixth and seventh grade.

I got a bad gash on my head when I got into a bike wipeout. It took fifteen stiches to close it up ten inside the gash and five to close it up :( It healed pretty well thank goodness! :)

sprained my ankle in high school (football team)
broke the same damned ankle one yr later (wrestling team)
sprained my left wrist playing basketball
lastyear i was helping my friend fix a leak on his roof, I slipped and fell of the damned ladder..and dislocated my shoulder
