Is it something to make Zod stronger?

Or is it something to kill Clark?

Zod has a strange infatuation with Clark, and he hid pink kryptonite inside the pendant.

I don't know what it's for, but since LexZod is holding it, it gotta do something against Clark I guess, kill him no, that's a little extreme, if it's not green k then it can't kill him, if you notice though, and you gotta do this frame by frame, it's black, then it lights up.
