Tardis.

I like the Tardis but it has to be the most least reliable mode of transport in all geekdom.

Unless my life was in immediate danger I would not get in the Tardis. The Tardis would probably leave me stranded on in some creepy remote place with a bunch of creatures that want to kill me.

As far as Sci-Fi, it'd have to be ISD Chimaera, the flagship of the galaxy's greatest art critic (and his Watson). It's one of the few Imperial vessels that has a nice amount of character in and of itself through its years of service.
