Right now, it has to be Captain America 2. The first one is my favorite out of all of the movies leading up to The Avengers, and I also think it has the strongest cast in it as well.

The fact that they're even doing a Guardians of the Galaxy movie is, frankly, insane. I never would have called that back in 2008 when Iron-Man started this whole thing. So far it's definitely my most anticipated movie.

1. Guardians of the Galaxy
2. Avengers 2
3. Amazing Spider-Man 2
4. Thor: The Dark World
5. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
6. X-Men: Days of Future Past

For me it's Thor. That's how it is, I'm a Thor fan first. Malekith/Kurse aren't the baddies I would have chosen for the sequel, but the film is looking great and it can't get here soon enough for this fan!

After that, GOTG has definitely gotten me excited, but I wasn't a hard sell. I loved the DnA run and most things cosmic from the outset. (In fact, I've always loved Marvel's quirky outsider characters in general, which GOTG definitely embraces)

Then it's CA:TWS, which is sounding awesome, followed by A2:AoU, which I'll get more excited for as it gets closer I'm sure.

The new Spider-Man and the continued X-Men universe are fine and I don't mean to diminish them, but they just don't get me excited like the MCU stuff does.

I'm a Marvel fan,I love all these characters, want to see every movie and be good.Of course I love some characters more than others(spidey and Thor are my personal favourites)but I can't wait for all of 'em.

What the hell is this Guardians of the Galaxy? I never even heard of it before this thread.

Because it's awesome space opera action comedy with a gun toting raccoon. It's completely different from everything else coming out. The SDCC/leaked footage also helped with the hype I think.

Well, that still doesn't help me understand why it's number one as the most anticipated movie on here.

Because its an obscure comic-book property and people are curious to see how it will translate to the big screen.

For me, after seeing the leaked footage, its now my least anticipated upcoming Marvel movie and I will probably just wait for it come out in Blu-ray.

To be honest, when I was seeing the posters up at the multiplex, I'd figure it was a sequel or something to that owl movie. Legends of the Guardian or something like that. That movie didn't look all too interesting either. Maybe not my cup of tea. Yet. Depends. IMdb says Vin Diesel and Zoe Saldana are in it, so maybe I will change my first reaction with a proper trailer.

Or people are just excited to see it. As everyone in this thread who has voted for it has stated. :/

There are Guardians of the Galaxy posters in theaters already?!?!

Avengers 2
got my vote, but I'm psyched for Guardians because it's Marvel daring to do something out-there and different. Something that could potentially be the MCU's Star Wars.

1. CA: TWS
2. Thor: TDW
3. TA 2
4. GotG

After that, I'm not all that interested. More of an MCU fan than an all-around comic book movie fan. I'll catch the others if they're on like HBO or FX, but I likely won't go to the theaters to see them like the ones on my list.

wow, talk about Marvel loyalty.

Or he's just not interested in two properties that have been butchered in the past by the other two studios.

How so? I am not at all familiar with the characters and have not seen the footage thus far.

Bingo. I'm very wary of FF due to the duds they had in the first 2. With X-Men, it just seems like they're throwing anyone and everyone into a film they hope works. As for TASM 2, that's probably my #5 but I'm on the fence about seeing it in theaters until I see a trailer.

Currently it's Winter Soldier, closely followed by DOFP and A2. I think I may actually be more excited for Avengers 2, but right now it's WS because it's closer.

Because it looks like "another boring sci-fi film like Green Lantern or John Carter" to him/her/it.

Never mind it looks nothing like either of those.

It??? Are we worried that psyclockolossus is a bot or something?

I don't think that's fair. It's the same genre as those listed projects. Sci-fi, space, adventure. Could be good. Could be horrible. Could be mediocre, like most MCU movies IMO. No reason to get overtly excited unless you are a big fan to begin with.

After seeing The Wolverine, X-Men moved up a few notches I think.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Spidey's always #1)

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (I think/hope this will be the best of Phase 2, so far)

X-Men: Days of Future Past (Can't wait to see the gang rounded up again!)

You've been reported for your personal attacks.

If you can't handle criticisms about GOTG, then maybe internet is not the best place for you.

out of the actually filming projects now (or finished), Thor. I hope that it really has a big opening but that it also has some legs in the follow-up weeks. so far Marvel Studios is untested for Thanksgiving-time releases.
