You want to buy tennis balls and you live in Gotham or something.

Modells in Gotham has a bag of 10 for like 10 bucks.

Sports Authority in Metropolis (4 miles away) has a can of 3 balls for 2 bucks each (can).

So, 3 cans totaling in 9 balls = 9 bucks.

9 balls for 9 bucks.

Where do you buy the balls at?

I'd put on a costume, go to Modells and kill a bunch of people, fight Batman and get put into Arkham Asylum where they'd give me one tennis ball to bounce off the walls.

Either that or play Guitar Hero

Are you paid per question?

I'd pass. I don't have a reason to want to purchase tennis balls.

Wait, Wait, wait...Metropolis is only 4 miles away from Gotham? Damn. And didn't Superman Returns mention Gotham?

And this poll is stoopied. So stupid I spelled it wrong, cause my brain isn't working that much.

:o I voted for Modell thoughs.

What I don't get is that you say Modells is in Gotham, and you said that we live in Gotham then on your poll you asked it it was worth going to Modells because the money used on gas/bus ticket voids out the "cheapness" of Sports Authority. But isn't Modells closer and therefore it would take more gas to get to Sports Authoritiy anyway?

This is a stupid question. You're paying the same per ball so go to the closer one.

Sports Authority is cheaper, but it's in Metropolis. Which means you'd have to drive to get there, which means wasting gas. Which therefore means that the cost to just get to Sports Authority would cancel out the fact that it's actually cheaper than Modells.

....Oh, Spawn.

You're paying the same per ball, but that math just happened to work out coincidentally. I didn't change the math because you don't want 12 balls anyway.

Yes Cmill216.

I'm not asking what the "smarter" or "economically sounds" choice to make here is...but what it is that you all apply in your own lives when given these options.

You don't know how many balls I want. Do you know how many balls I want? No. You do not know how many balls I want. So don't tell me how many balls I want, because the number of balls I want is what I want, not what you think I want.

It would have been better* if I had just the two places as options and had you state why maybe.

Well, you originally wanted ten. You saw it at Modells but held off. But it looked like a great deal. Week later, Sports Authority had the sale.

I implied that you wanted ten (?)

Nevermind, I thought he was trying to say you'd have to use more gas money to get to Modells after he said it was in Gotham. After reading it 217 more times I realized I'm just stupid

But what if I wanted more balls? What if what I wanted wasn't ten balls, but more than ten balls? If I wanted more than ten balls, then implying that I only wanted ten balls would be incorrect, no? If I only wanted ten balls, then I myself would have indicated that yes, I only want ten balls. But at no point did I myself indicate that ten balls is the number of balls that I want, so to imply that I want ten balls is wrong.

Wrong is not the word you're looking for.

And we both know that no matter how many balls you want, you're answer to the original question will remain the same.

But that's not your point...is it?

Maybe I'm reading this wrong and my brain is not working, but if a can of 3 balls are 2 bucks per can, wouldn't 9 balls work out at 6 bucks? Therefore making the balls at SA cheaper anyway?

You know what Spawn, this thread was worded really s*****. Maybe you're not the genius I thought you were

No. It's not. My point is, what if I wanted more than ten balls? To take it a step further, what if I wanted fewer than ten balls? What if I wanted five balls? Would the number of balls that I desire have a negative and/or positive impact on the number of balls that I could purchase for a price?

Moreover, is there a buy one get one free program?

Another thing: what are the deals like in Star City?
