After seeing some covers on here from the 90's, all I can say is "Jesus, I feel old..."

Are we using the 2 month ahead rule, as in a comic always has a cover-date that's two months after when it comes out?

I was born in September '82, so whatever issue has Nov 82 as its cover date. I tried going to the Sam Ruby site, but only got an error page for my trouble.
