I'd be fine if it were real. Though I'm hoping it's

Bryan vs Lesnar
Reigns vs Rusev
Orton vs Rollins vs Ambrose
Sting vs Trips
Cena vs Sheamus
Wyatt vs Taker (since its what they're hoping for)
Ziggler vs Show
Harper vs Rowan
Ryback winning the Andre battle royal

You want Sting vs HHH?! Not fond of that match up but I'm sure it's the one we will get. I want Sting vs Undertaker or Sting vs Wyatt. That in itself would be great. But Sting vs Undertaker would be great. The build up for that would be amazing. I just don't see Sting vs HHH being as legendary as it should be. The only reason HHH got where he was is because he was banging the bosses daughter. I never saw the appeal with the guy.

Sting/Wyatt would have been AMAZING...9 months ago.

Undertaker is done. A match between him and Sting at this point would probably just disappoint.

I know they want Taker vs Wyatt but unless Wyatt goes over big time then no... I'd want Wyatt to become the new Phenom. Do something silly where the power of the urn transfers to the lantern. I dunno.Plus I'm not even sure Taker can work or be carried through a decent match after last year.

Not really, but it's gonna happen. Agreed on Trips. Sting vs Wyatt I'd be very interested in seeing.

Listening to The Ross Report with Victoria. She is not find of Dixie Carter at all.

The funniest thing about the Dolph line is why was Punk watching Smackdown? :funny:

He could be the destroyer heel with Heyman once Brock is gone.

I could also see a Mania match involving Ziggler/Ryback vs Kane/Show

Cena with Heyman would be brilliance. Also that tag match does seem likely . The theme of WM will be good guys bs the Authority. Brock is more than likely leaving so I think a Cena heel turn would be the big story for the next year. They can turn Cena good again after next years mania

How many years do you guys think Roman Reigns will be the face of the company?

He was probably responding to a text someone sent him about it. That would be interesting if he was watching Smackdown though. There might be a part of him that misses it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Taker sit this WM out, and maybe come back next year for a retirement match. The loss of the streak is still a "thing" right now, and it's going to overshadow any match he has this year, whether it's against Sting, Lesnar, Wyatt, whoever.

If Taker sits out this year, next year his return will be a bigger deal, and that alone would help sell whatever match he's in.

^ I would imagine that engaging in physical intimacy with Joanie Lauer would require deployment of a stunt double in any event.

Backstage News On Rumble Finishes, Title Scenarios At WM31

Vince McMahon is keeping the match finishes to Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view close to his vest and could still be flip flopping. Sources continue to indicate that Roman Reigns is the favorite to win the Rumble match but an internal push for Daniel Bryan remains.

The plan for months has been to do Brock Lesnar vs. Reigns at Wrestlemania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, however, the babyface tease of Lesnar on Monday was very interesting.

As we reported here at Wrestling News World, Brock didn’t completely turn but the company was “testing the waters” to see how the crowd would react.

If they go with Seth Rollins as champion, a triple-threat for the title [at Wrestlemania] with all three former members of The Shield has been discussed. One source mentioned if they went this route, someone would have to realize Dean Ambrose has only one pay-per-view victory (at WWE Payback in June) since the faction split.

The 3/5 WWE NXT event in Columbus, Ohio taking place at the LC Pavilion, Columbus, OH as part of the Arnold Classic went on sale this morning and immediately sold out. That's pretty damn awesome sign for the NXT brand, especially since it's the first time they have had a live event outside of the Florida area.

Hopefully they blow this show out of the water so the demand for this product will increase. There tends to be a lot of uncertainty surrounding how well this product can do outside of it's backyard and only time will tell if they'll be able to do this in every city but this is a great start. IMO

You know, I could totally see them pulling something like this to get around having neither Bryan or Reigns win:

WWE's Vice President of Digital Media Content Joey Styles has made a bold prediction for Sunday's Royal Rumble matc. Despite not even being an announced participant, Styles thinks that reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will win the 30-man battle royal.

WWE.com has published a new "Editor's Choice" feature with predictions for the Rumble match, with Styles laying out the most outlandish scenario. Here's how he thinks it will go down:

"After losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship without being beaten when Rollins pins John Cena, Lesnar will take another Superstar’s spot in the Royal Rumble Match after beating him into unconsciousness backstage. The enraged former UFC Heavyweight Champion will then leave battered and broken bodies strewn about ringside behind him as he starts his Road to WrestleMania — and revenge."

Styles thinks Seth Rollins will win the title and go on to defend against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Meh.. Brock gets a rematch anyways why would he need to win the rumble.

Ok so me and one of my fellow contributors on PW Manifesto give our Rumble predictions and thoughts on Raw/Smackdown:

Gradual upswing for Smackdown continues:

Viewership for WWE SmackDown increased once again, as last night's episode averaged 2.814 million viewers. That number was up 5% from last week's debut in its new timeslot, which averaged 2.675 million viewers.

The final SmackDown in its old Friday night slot drew 2.432 million viewers.

SmackDown was once again the number one show on cable last night.
