I had a job orientation today for a part-time at a grocery store. It wasn't even a damn orientation. It was more like a sales pitch at a marketing firm. I wanted her to hurry up so I can do my job, not buy stocks in the company. And I have to do 8 hours of computer training...to bag groceries (and I have 3 years of prior grocery store experience). Let that sink in.

how is this different from the hate thread?

For one, anger and hate are two separate things. One is a momentary emotion, a short-term reaction to a singular event. The other is a long term, pervasive emotion towards something that threatens us either physically, emotionally, ideologically, etc. Further more, one thread is asking for specific things that angered you today, while the other asks you to list any object of hatred, regardless of the time; the former pretty much being a "I had a bad day and need to vent" thread.
