A few years ago there was a film in which Bruce Willis discovered he was a potential superhero who could not be harmed. Well, guess what Hypesters. There really is such a person.

Quite a remarkable story from Burnaby this afternoon. A 2 year old boy was run over in a crosswalk but unbelievably walked away. The accident happened at the intersection of Kingsway and Willingdon when the toddler and his Mom were crossing the road. That's when the little boy had a temper tantrum and laid down in the street. Cpl Pierre Lemaitre with Burnaby Mounties says a woman in a mini van was making a turn and only saw the mother. To everyone's shock she drove over the child, leaving tire marks on his back and his head. The little guy was taken to hospital but managed to walk out with only bumps and bruises. Lemaitre says both mother and driver were extremely traumatised by the ordeal. He says it leaves investigators scratching their heads as to how this could have happened. No charges have been laid so far.

I guess the only way to prove this really happened is to get hit by a car myself.

I'll be back when I become a superhero.

I wouldn't tell the kid this when he's older. Or else he'll try to hurt himself and he prob. will. But thats pretty cool.

My mom was run over with only bruises to show for it when she was a kid. I can't say I'm impressed, the human body can be very resilient.

I knew mutation was on the rise!!!

Lucky kid, don't be suprised if we hear one day that there's a masked vigilante running around. :o

Seriously though, I'm glad he's ok.

Well he's young,so its not like his bones are rock hard.

Kids are very flexible.

He probably flattened out where the tires ran over him and all his body mass went to his head and feet.

Sounds like something Stephen Glass would have written.
