Anyone think Tarantino could do a classic comic book movie?

Which MCU movie would be perfect for him?

My head tells me "None." But my heart says "Cage and Fist! That goes without saying! Kung-Fu Blaxpoitation? C'mon son!"

Chances are slim to none though. SIGH

Well, he was planning on doing a Luke Cage movie after Reservoir Dogs. Though, I think Nextwave would be pretty perfect for him, maybe Thunderbolts. But he's gone on record saying he's not going to ever do one, so it's a pretty moot point to theorize what he should direct.

I was about to come in here and say "none," but then I saw the Heroes for Hire suggestion and thought, well, that's actually kind of perfect for him. So yeah, I'd vote for that.

lets see tarantino likes

witty comedy
satire
ultra violence
foul language that would get an r rating

pretty simple

When i proposed a luke cage blaxploitation and iron fist kung fu film a couple of months back people here told me it was a terrible idea. Go figure !

Yeah, a 1970s Power Man and Iron Fist would be a no-brainer for Q.

Really? I think Punisher is the most obvious candidate.

Revenge story: Check
Tribute to older films and a genre: Check
Over the top violence: Check
Crazy bad guys: Check

Either way i don't see him doing any MCU film, he was interested in making Iron Man back in the 90s but i doubt he'll do another adaptation rather than an original project

Punisher or Heroes for Hire, as some have suggested. Of course, a Howling Commandos movie would be another viable option, if it was entertained...

I agree with Punisher or Heroes for Hire, but I think he's also be pretty good for Daredevil.

Aside from liking ultra violence and extreme imagery, Tarantino loves long, tense conversations that are sometimes more thrilling than an action scene. Imagine Tarantino directing a court scene? Or the Kingpin intimidating someone? It could be absolutely enthralling to watch...
