What next for the WWE, does it have a reason to exist?

Not yet. The American Legal System is run by snails.

Agreed, its amazing how nothing gets done to all these celebrities cause of money. Take britt speers for example, if half the driving and legal stuff, and lindsay lohan had happened to someone normal they would be in jail for a long ass time. But celebrities get caught with drugs and whatnot and they get slaps on the wrist. Simple fact is most judges are *****es. We need judge maria lopez in there.

Dog, couldn't you have just said Judge Mathis or Judge Judy? :o

Aren't we due a wrestling scandal soon?

Jeff Hardy, who was going into Wrestlemania as the forerunner to win the Money In The Bank match and get a guaranteed championship shot, has just been suspended for 60 days for his second offense against the WWE's Wellness Policy. What he did and how much of it is unknown. One more strike and he's gone. It's unfortunate because the guy went through hell and back to earn back the company's trust and get pushed into the main event picture. Hopefully missing Wrestlemania, losing 60 Days pay, his Wrestlemania bonus pay and falling back down the ladder will straighten his ass out. Then again, losing his job and being virtually unemployed for 2-3 years (minus a TNA stint) obviously didn't do it. I hate when people who have the world at their feet and limitless talent in their niche blow it all on **** like this. It reminds me of Shawn Michaels 10-12 years ago. Hopefully Jeff bounces back like HBK and doesn't become another Scott Hall or Jake Roberts.

I think we should start a pool as to which wrestlers have issues this year.

I read this today on Wrestlezone.com:

"From Chris Scanlan: For what its worth I went to a Hardy Boy's autograph singing back on November 11th. Matt was lucid and very talkative to fans but Jeff came on looking like he was going to fall over. He was wearing dark sunglasses but you could see he pupils were dilated to a pinhole how you would look if you were high on painkillers. I tried to talk to him and he made me repeat what I said 3 times and then he leaned over the table and just shook my hand didn't answer my question. He smelled like alcohol pretty strong, I was not the only one at the signing that noticed this as we joked about it after with another group of guys that were in front of us in the line. Its seems that Jeff has been battling this addiction for sometime."

I don't always believe "fan" accounts... but I'm not denying it either. Shame really, as he's been riding his red-hot push lately and now he's got to sit out WrestleMania. I really do hope the guy bounces back, though. He's a tremendous performer and he's already been through all this once.

It's nice to see so few young wrestlers have died this year. Perhaps, this terrible incident was the slap in the face pro wrestling needed to finally get its act together; at least regarding the health of performers.

i think most of the wrestlers who were doing drugs back in the day have either layed off of it or are dead. it was mostly them that were passing away .
the younger wrestlers have a better chance because wwe and tna have more restrictions nowadays so i think they are better off than previous generations.
i still worry about some of the older wrestlers such as jake the snake , scott hall , and possibly sid.

True, true. I doubt even the WWE are handing roids out.

Dawn Marie recently started a foundation to help former/older wrestlers with various health/financial problems. One of the most lethal problems that wrestlers have faced after leaving the spotlight is that they had so few options for health care and financial aid. Thus, they get addicted to painkillers and alcohol while trying to wrestle long after they should have stopped. Hopefully, this will begin to change.

Also...a good chunk of these guys start wrestling at a young age and have nothing to fall back on afterwards...I saw an interview with Marcus (Buff) Bagwell....he was wasked why not do something else? he stated "I've been wrestling since 17, never had a job, I don't know anything else...

^That sucks. Seriously, he should've put away some of that money and created a plan B. I think the WWE is a dead for the most part, although I'm not an avid fan. I did watch a match on youtube between the Rattlesnake and the People's Champ from a past Wrestlemania. It was still great, but I think I stopped watching years ago when both of those guys retired. It was ludicrous fun at the time, but now it seems dated. UFC is going to destroy this eventually.
