What other DC villians would you like to see Batman take on more often?

Not counting the classic Gotham City usuals, what about ones like ...

Lex Luthor (Isn't there going to be a story about their first meeting coming out soon?)

Deathstroke (They've fought on several occasions but I'd like to see more)

Dr.Destiny (Have they ever battled one on one without the JLA?)

Catman (Has Batman fought him since his revamp?)

Others?

Doomsday and Darkside so batman can whip them like the good ole days

Batman would need serious heavy-duty equipment.

Even with a Motherbox and som weaponry, he had to threaten Darkseid with destroying Apokolips with the Hellspores in order for him to concede defeat.

Against Doomsday. . . if it was pre-Imperiex, Batman would lose, perhaps even die, if he stayed and fight. If post-Imperiex, he COULD outsmart DD, since DD is sentient.

Even then, you still need to water down Darkseid for storytelling purposes, just like in the Supergirl arc.

Darkseid used to have telepathy and could just flatout control people as if they were puppets. So why didn't he do that with Batman? :(:down

As long as Batman doesn't take on villains who can match Superman blow for blow (the Atomic freakin' Skull), or even ones that can surpass Superman (Darkseid under better writing), then I'd probably be okay with it.

Jeph Loeb.

Understandable.

Indeed. I also blame him for both the Atomic Skull and the Parasite's pointless deaths.

Jeph Loeb has his hits and misses.

Long Halloween was great.

Hush was disappointing.

Superman For All Seasons is great, too

But Superman/Batman is boring.
