What Others Think of You

I gave up trying to come across 'acceptable' to people at school when it felt like too much work. I used to let it bother me when I thought some people didn't like me, then I either grew up or gave up. I don't like making fake efforts, in fact I'm probably too honest and this might annoy people. Anyway, I'm talking about real life. I can laugh off what people type on forums, perceptions are down to how you read them, it's not a true reflection.

I miss some people round here too. But it is a community, and I'm starting to appreciate roles that people fill. Like, for instance, I appreciate what moviefan2ksomething brings - I disagree with him about everything apart from gay opera being awesome, but you need that in a community. And I like the guy despite our differences because he has set his path and will not compromise it.

There's a couple of new guys come along recently who are really good posters - The Ace of Knaves is a good laugh and opinionated enough to have a good debate with, as is jaycaz.

Fellow Brits too. :word:
'ello eggy.
wtf is an agony aunt?
People you write letters to when you need advice, and they share it with all the readers to make them all feel slightly better about their own meaningless existance.

(Is this thread a dig at Rando "Do you like me?")

I actually find my life is better the more I care about whether people like me...because then they do.

Most people think I am an overly sexual, *****y div who's emotions are less consistent than a Jewish manic depressive manic depressive who has just drunk Red Bull and vodka then swallow a handful of mixed uppers and downers.:o
