IRONWOOD (though this movie would have to be NC-17 due to the amount of gratuitous sex, nudity, and violence)

^Willingham's the man! His Elementals were fantastic.

Supreme Power is my first choice. I freaking loved that series. After that I'd say Deadpool(what up Ace!:woot:), Unknown Soldier, The Authority, and The Maxx.

Oh, I agree. But I'm now thinking it'd be better as a adult series on HBO or Showtime ala' the Sopranos/Dexter. But the cost would be prohibitive. I mean HBO spent $100M on a 7-part John Adams series. Supreme Power would cost way more than that and require much more episodes.

Damn that's alot of dough.:wow:

Yeah, but it really showed. That mini-series was fantastic. It won tons of Emmy's as I recall. But I have no idea how channels like HBO & Showtime stack up profitability-wise since all their revenue is from paying subscribers + DVD sales rather than advertising revenue. I would love to see the numbers to find out if a series like John Adams actually made money.

Oh, that'd be tough. Especially since the superheroes in TE don't age physically yet they do get older inside. I'm mainly thinking of the Tommy character since the others are already adults. I'll have to think on it.

Actually I was referring to casting Ironwood.

Oh, well 20 years ago Bruce Campbell would have made an excellent Dave Dragavon. Today? I'm just not sure.

I agree with you on the young Bruce Campbell. As for who would be good today?

Fantasia Faust = Catherine Zeta-Jones

Ursula The Centaur = Megan Fox

Gnaric/Gyp the gnome wizard = Verne Troyer

Hugo Wormfire the demon = CGI (possibly voiced by James Earl Jones)

Sulimon Canto = Gary Oldman

Arch Bishop Of The Christ Avenger (I forget his name) = Christian Bale
