What R-rated comics films would you like to see next?

DMZ - Would need a hefty budget and a good action director to pull off the firefights throughout the Manhattan streets.

No Hero - A great twist on the Superhero concept and the seven issues could easily be adapted into a full length and could work with a decent budget.

Lone Wolf & Cub

They made movies based on the graphic novels in Japan back in the 1970s. Probably the most famous was renamed The Shogun Assassin for release in The States (which is actually a compilation of scenes from several Lone Wolf & Cub movies). I say remake it in English, in Hollywood with Japanese American actors. Maybe cast Sho Kosugi as Ogami Itto, The Lone Wolf.

Judge Dredd-and only if they do it right include the digs of the extremes of american culture gone mad that is mega city one as well as the brutality of the judge rule. the standard action movie we got in 1995 was a huge letdown for a big fan like me.

Cloak and Dagger-one of the first coics i ever read C&D could be amazing as a dark gritty movie the original storyline is a staark look at the effect of drugs.

Johny Alpha-another 2000AD stalwart Alpha is a mutant bounty hunter from Milto Keynes,england from 100 years in the future from the current dredd timeline a time traveling movie could be amazing.

The original ones were awesome, not sure I need a remake.

I don't like foreign movies with subtitles though. They didn't dub any of the original movies. It's not until an American company edited a bunch of them together to make Shogun Assassin that it got dubbed into English. I'd like to see it done better and in English. Besides, the fight scenes in the originals were the cheesy Asian wirefu fights. I'd like to see it done with better fight scenes.

THE PRO

This is a graphic novel. It's sort of a spoof of The Justice League. It's about a low rent hooker who's given superpowers by an alien trying to win a bet. She's invited to join the League Of Honor. The other members are a little put off by her methods (she's willing to use lethal force, they aren't). It's sexy, smutty, violent, and a lot of fun. Should make for a great movie.

I'd like to see the following cast:

Elisha Cuthbert = The Pro

Nicolas Cage = The Saint

Val Kilmer = The Knight

Elijah Wood = The Squire

Catherine Zeta-Jones = The Lady

Samuel L Jachson = The Lime

Niel Patric Harris = Speedo

Personally I'd probably make it more NC17. An R rating just wouldn't cut it for a story like The Pro.

A Strontium Dog movie would be brilliant. Like a futuristic, time traveling, spaghetti western. In Britain.

Supreme Power is my first choice. I freaking loved that series. After that I'd say Deadpool(what up Ace!t, Unknown Soldier, The Authority, and The Maxx.
