What should I be looking for?

I'm looking for some good comics with the Joker & Two-Face. I already ordered and paid for the very first Batman comic with the Joker on ebay, and I'm getting the Batman Annual with Two-Face. I know I should get the Killing Joke & the Long Halloween, but what are some others I should get? Suggestions aren't just limited to Joker & Two-Face.

I don't really know which one you should get with bats and two-face, but I know which one you should avoid: Crime and Punishment.

Harvey Dent and the Joker both play important roles in Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns," even though they aren't the main focus, and Harvey's face is cured. (The Joker is truly disturbing in this book, by the way)

I would highly recomend it. Widely thought of as the best-ever Batman graphic novel

Don't go all nuts and start buying from ebay, who knows the comics might be damaged, buy only what you like and look for the recommendation thread here on the board.

But don't feel pressure that you need to buy every Batman book out there because there are some real stinkers too.
