What Should I Drink?

I am currently hitting day 10 of my drink strike. Over the last 10 days all I have drank is a small glass of water with dinner each day. Before this little strike I was drinking 3-4 glasses a day at least. Needless to say, Ive lost some weight. I can see and feel a difference. It's real weird feeling my body draining and sucking at night.

I have the means to end this strike with anything I want right now. I could go buy a keg and drink the whole thing if I wanted. I simply can't choose what to drink. I don't want to make a rash decision for I wish to remain in charge of 'the drink.' I want my new nickname to be 'THE DAM.'

So, when I do end this drink strike what is the beverage I should choose to do so with? Here are some of the options I am weighing:

1. Mike's Hard Lemonade, Two 22 oz bottles or a six pack
2. Long Island Iced Tea
3. Homemade Lemonade/Limeade Vodka Cooler
4. A full bar to slip into a drunken coma with
5. Four glasses of ice cold Coca-Cola
6. A 48 oz movie theatre Coke
7. Smirnoff Ice
8. 12 pack of Beer
9. An Extra Large 7-11 beverage
10. Margaritas/Pina Coladas/Daquiri's

I'm open to more suggestions.
 
8. 12 pack of Beer as quick as possible

I suggest anything from New England
 
A 36 pack of Mountain Dew; trust me, it satisfies all thirst and does wonders. :cwink: :woot: :oldrazz:

Actually, continue to drink water. It's what the body needs. The body does not need alcohol, for in the end, you are just polluting your body. You know? Drink some Gatorade, or wait, drink G2. That tastes great.

What the hell would you go on a "drink strike" for? That is completely the wrong way to lose weight, if that's what you're trying to do. If you get dehydrated inadvertantly, you can really screw yourself up. DO NOT break your little strike with alcohol, which will just serve to dehydrate you further. Please just keep drinking water.

2. You should drink everclear. That will help dehydrate you further, and hopefully lead to my new goal for you from my first point.

Wait a minute, are you on a liquid strike or an alcohol strike to lose weight?

The liquid strike is not only futile for losing weight...all you've lost is water, muscle mass, not fat...but it's also VERY dangerous. You NEED 8-12 (8oz) of liquid a day (juices, water preferably).

All you've lost is water and essential minerals. This whole "strike" on liquids is dangerous and could result in a lot of health risks, anything from kidney stones to kidney failure.

Get back on liquids and NOW. BUT don't drink a lot of water. If you have any juice (orange, apple, whatever) start very slowly with 1 or 2 glasses for the rest of the night. Tomorrow get back on a healthy 6-7 glasses of liquid.

The latter option is good for you, but I don't think that's what you meant. And you might be an alcoholic.

Ugh, no! Fox whatever you do DON'T do this.

Don't drink alcohol or caffeinated beverages either...you're already dehydrated and either options will do you more harm. Get some fruit juice in you. I hope you've been eating Veggies and fruits at least.

Well, I was speaking figuratively. I'm sure at this point his poor body is so dehydrated that he'd drown himself :dry:
 
10 days is not long enough for a drink strike . If it was 3 months then maybe I would consider it a real strike. So far you don't deserve anything because your giving in way too soon.
 
What the hell does it even accomplish to have a "drink strike?" This may be the stupidest thing I've heard all day.

What the hell are you talking about? There's water in beer, pop, and alcohol PLUS stuff for the body to burn. I did think about Gatorade though.

What are you talking about? I'm not trying to lose weight. I like testing the limits, that way I have a calmer head if I end up without water or food at any point in life - like if the Apocalypse occurs. Believe me, I have dozens of clutch survival techniques I've discovered from these 'experiments.'

You don't know what you're talking about. I capped of a stretch of 17 days with no food and little fluids by promptly going to drinking 1/5th of liquor a day for about a week or so.

Hah! You wish. With running water available EVERYWHERE in America I sincerely doubt I will die of dehydration. Even If My house burned down and I had no place to live I could still find an empty pop bottle and fill it up at any drinking fountain.
